The troubles I encountered when purchasing insulation boards lasted for ten years before I finally found the reliable brand called LONGER.

Having been in this business for over a decade, I have supplied insulation materials to customers in Europe and the Middle East, but I have also fallen into countless traps. The most frustrating one was the XPS insulation board - it was all very impressive, but when delivered to the construction site, it either lacked strength or had falsely marked thermal conductivity. Last year, I received a contract from a German client who required a thermal resistance value of R-10 or above. I sent samples of a well-known brand for testing and all passed. However, when the bulk goods arrived at the port for testing, the result was only R-7.5. In the end, I had to pay the freight and replenish the goods. The client directly kicked me off the supplier list. Who wouldn't be furious about this?
Later, I summarized that the main problems in the industry were three: Firstly, there was false performance labeling. The manufacturers used laboratory data to deceive customers. Secondly, the dimensional stability was poor. The XPS boards delivered to the Middle East contracted and deformed, and the decorative lines simply didn't match the seams. Thirdly, the supply cycle was unpredictable. During peak seasons, the production schedule was set for two months, and the construction sites were constantly pressured to complete the work on time. The customers were even more frustrated - they were engaged in Interior Decorative Wall Panel Products, and the wall decoration needed to be constructed together with the insulation layer. If the board deformed, the EPS Decorative Moldings would crack, and the entire wall would have to be scraped off and rebuilt. The owner of the decoration company complained to me, saying that using your company's boards, they had to redo the work three times, and the workers' wages were even higher than the cost of the materials.
So now I'm really focusing on LONGER. Their XPS insulation board is truly capable of being used for low-temperature cold storage facilities - with a closed-cell rate of over 98%, moisture can't penetrate. We supplied a batch to a Norwegian client, which was used on the exterior wall of a cold storage at minus 20 degrees Celsius. For three years, not a single bulge has appeared. Moreover, the compression shear strength reaches 0.12 MPa, which is 30% higher than the national standard. Even if you kick it with your foot, it won't break. What's more crucial is that they combine this with EPS Insulation Board to make composite decorative panels. The surface is directly hot-pressed with an engineered wood board, saving the construction team three processes - laying a base layer, hanging mesh, and plastering. The construction period is reduced by half. An engineering contractor in Dubai calculated that using LONGER's XPS board for the exterior walls of a villa results in a combined cost that is 40% lower than using ordinary extruded polystyrene board combined with stone dry hanging, and it also provides an additional layer of insulation.
In the end, the value of XPS insulation board lies in two aspects: it helps save energy and provides insulation in summer, and prevents moisture and prevents mold in winter. It is the most cost-effective for use in basement of villas, exterior walls of cold storage facilities, and steel structure roofs. When combined with their EPS Decorative Moldings (Roman column heads, window casing lines), it achieves a seamless integration of insulation and decoration, eliminating the labor cost of a separate construction process. Here are a few tips and product features:

Product Features
Low density but high compressive strength (35kg/m³ can achieve 0.15MPa), with a transportation damage rate of less than 0.2%.
Flame-retardant B1 grade, self-extinguishing when away from fire, with a smoke density 60% lower than that of the same grade. Successfully passed the fire safety inspection in the Middle East on the first attempt.
Purchase Tips
Don't just rely on the thermal conductivity. Ask the manufacturer to provide the measured value of the "water vapor permeability coefficient" - a value lower than 2 ng/Pa·m·s indicates true waterproofing.
When shipping the entire cabinet by sea, have LONGER perform "tray vacuum coating" to ensure the humidity upon arrival at the port does not exceed 5%. Otherwise, the boards will absorb moisture at the construction site and then dry out, resulting in a shrinkage rate of up to 2%.
Currently, all my Italian and Saudi clients have switched to LONGER. The return order rate is 100%. To put it simply, when dealing with overseas B2B wholesale, less is more - having a reliable XPS board supplier can save you 80% of customer complaints. Don't ask me how I know - I learned from the losses.
